As a Retail Associate, you’ll be an essential part of creating a welcoming, customer-first experience in our first Made Plus retail store. You’ll introduce customers to our sustainable footwear collections, share product knowledge, and help bring our mission to life in-store.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional, personalized service
• Know current products and trends to offer knowledgeable styling advice
• Support visual merchandising: keep displays clean, restocked, and brand-compliant
• Assist with inventory tasks—receiving, organizing, restocking, and ensuring accuracy
• Operate register, process sales, and returns
• Collaborate with team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
• Participate in ongoing training and uphold all brand standards
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate as needed

Qualifications:

• 0–2 years of retail or customer-facing experience (preferred but not required)
• Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
• Efficiency and attention to detail in a fast-paced retail environment
• Comfortable with POS systems and handling cash or card transactions
• Basic computer literacy (e.g., email, scheduling apps, product lookup)
• Friendly, solutions-oriented mindset focused on customer satisfaction

The Role 

We’re looking for a Content Creator who’s as scrappy as they are strategic—someone who can turn great ideas into scroll-stopping content that not only tells our story but drives real results. From the docks to the design studio, you’ll bring our brand to life across digital channels with fresh, engaging, high-performing visuals and campaigns. 

This is a hands-on role based in our Annapolis HQ, where you’ll collaborate closely with our factory, marketing, product, and leadership teams. 

What You’ll Do 

• Create, shoot, and edit content (photo, video, motion) for our digital platforms—including social media, website, email, and product launches 
• Develop seasonal campaign content as well as weekly content to engage our audience and build momentum 
• Work with our team to shape content strategy that aligns with brand goals and launches 
• Ensure all content reflects our coastal, energetic, and punchy brand voice and visuals 
• Support larger brand moments like events, pop-ups, and behind-the-scenes storytelling from sketch to shelf 
• Lead planning and creative execution with an eye toward sales performance, engagement, and reach 
• Occasionally collaborate with freelance photographers, videographers, or editors when needed 

What You Bring 

• 2–3 years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, or a related creative role 
• A strong portfolio that shows your visual eye, storytelling skills, and ability to turn ideas into content that performs 
• Experience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Shopify, and video editing software (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar) 
• Passion for brand-building, and comfort being behind—or occasionally in front of—the camera 
• Highly visual, resourceful, and excited to get scrappy when needed 
• A knack for translating product features into compelling creative 
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple creative projects at once 

Bonus if you have: 

• Experience working with Klaviyo or similar email platforms 
• Interest in sustainable fashion, performance footwear, or startup brands

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Daily responsibilities:

- Experienced seamstress/stitcher in the apparel, upholstery, and or footwear industry familiar with stitching on a Zig Zag, Post Bed, Flat Bed, Strobel, and Computerized Stitching machines preferred.

-Execute the production schedule

- Assemble multiple pairs of shoes according to quality specifications and ensuring proper fit.

- Understand and observe machine operation, identifying and mitigating quality and operational deficiencies.

- Willingness and ability to learn and operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.

- Uphold and account for inventory levels daily to ensure restocking in a timely fashion.

Additional Skills (Preferred but not Required):

- A passion towards developing quality products and enjoy taking on new challenges as we launch new styles and designs.

- Experience with the following machines: Zig Zag, Post Bed, Flat Bed, Strobel, and Computerized Stitching machines

-Patterning, creating and modifying apparel patterns

-Experience adjusting the bobbin timing

-Embroidery experience

-Experience using spreadsheets, word and Illustrator/Photoshop is a plus.
